Intro to Wax Melt Warming

No need for an open flame, simply use a warming device to release your favorite scents. A cleaner and safer alternative to traditional scented candles, wax melts offer long-lasting fragrance and are easy to use.

Wax melts are a flameless way to scent a room, kind of like candles—but without a wick. Here’s the simple breakdown:

🧊 What they are

Wax melts are small pieces of scented wax. They’re made from wax (soy, paraffin, beeswax, or blends) mixed with fragrance oils.

🔥 How they work

  1. You place a wax melt in a warmer

    • Either:

      • a tea light burner (uses a small candle underneath), or

      • an electric wax warmer (uses a low-heat bulb or heating plate)

  2. Heat melts the wax

    • The wax doesn’t burn—it just melts into a liquid.

  3. Fragrance is released

    • As the wax warms, the fragrance oils evaporate into the air, making the room smell nice.

  4. Wax cools and re-solidifies

    • When you turn the warmer off, the wax hardens again.

    • You can re-melt the same wax multiple times until the scent fades.

⏳ How long they last

  • One melt usually scents a room for 8–20 hours, depending on:

  1. wax type
  2. fragrance strength
  3. room size
  4. warmer temperature

🆚 Wax melts vs candles

Pros

  1. No open flame (with electric warmers)
  2. Strong scent throw
  3. Easy to swap scent
  4. No soot or smoke

Cons

  1. No cozy candle flame vibe
  2. Need a warmer

♻️ How to change scents

Once the scent is gone:

  1. Let wax harden, then pop it out
  2. Or melt slightly and pour into a disposable container
  3. Some people freeze the dish for easy removal

Safety Of Wax Melts

Safely enjoy your favorite candle scents with wax melting. Avoid the risk of home candle fires with no flames required. According to the National Candle Association, 25 fires are reported daily due to forgotten candles. Use a certified wax melt warmer to easily turn on and off for worry-free enjoyment. The majority of these situations are caused by people simply forgetting to blow their candles out before going to bed or leaving the house. We do recommend using a bulb warming if this is a worry for you. Alternatively for a hotter scent throw a tea light burner can be used with a 4 hour tealight only. Many risks that can be avoided by sticking to our safety tips. Please remember to always blow out your tealight after use and check it has fully gone out. Place your tealight burner on a flat surface. Never overfil your burner with wax. Leave your burner in a suitable place out of the reach of pets and children aswell as any windows or drafts. Never pick up your burner whilst lit as it can be extremely hot, leave your burner to cool before picking it up.
