Wax Melt Safety Information

At Ava-Rose Aroma’s, your safety is extremely important to us. Please read the following safety information carefully before using our wax melts.

How to Use Wax Melts Safely

  • Always use wax melts with a suitable wax melt burner designed for this purpose

  • Use with an unscented tealight or an electric wax melt burner

  • Do not overfill your burner

  • Only use one tealight at a time

  • Keep burners on a heat-resistant, stable surface

Fire Safety

  • Never leave a lit wax melt burner unattended

  • Keep away from flammable materials, including curtains and soft furnishings

  • Do not move the burner while in use or while the wax is hot

  • Extinguish the tealight before leaving the room or going to sleep

Burn & Heat Warnings

  • Wax and burners can become very hot during use

  • Allow wax to cool completely before handling or changing scents

  • Never touch or pour hot wax

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets

Ventilation

  • Use wax melts in a well-ventilated area

  • If fragrance becomes overpowering, extinguish the tealight or switch off the burner and allow the wax to cool

Allergies & Sensitivities

  • Our wax melts contain fragrance oils that may cause allergic reactions

  • Always check the CLP label on your product for allergen information

  • If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately

  • If you have asthma, allergies, or sensitivities, use with caution

What NOT to Do

  • Do not add water to hot wax

  • Do not ingest wax melts

  • Do not use wax melts in oil burners not designed for wax

  • Do not leave melted wax unattended

  • Do not mix wax melts with other substances

Disposal & Clean-Up

  • Allow wax to cool and harden before removal

  • Dispose of used wax responsibly — do not pour wax down sinks or drains

  • Wipe burners clean with a soft cloth once fully cooled
