Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy

(Wax Melts & Cosmetic Products)

Shipping Information

We currently ship to the UK only 🇬🇧

All orders are shipped directly from Ava-Rose Aroma’s.
Due to the nature of our products, all items are handmade and made to order.

Orders are dispatched within 5–7 working days. An estimated dispatch time will be provided at checkout.

Delivery Options

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £3.49

  • Evri Tracked – from £2.94

All parcels are sent using tracked services.

Free Delivery

Orders over £25 qualify for free delivery via Evri, unless an alternative service is requested at checkout.


Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To allow us to resolve the issue quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the damaged item(s)

  • Photographs of both the internal and external packaging

Where appropriate, we will offer a replacement or refund in line with your statutory rights.

Due to courier claim requirements, damage reported outside of this timeframe may not be eligible for resolution.


Returns & Refunds

Due to the handmade and hygiene-sensitive nature of wax melts and cosmetic-style products, our returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and untampered with

  • Items must be in their original condition and packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on products that have been opened, used, or tested, unless they are faulty.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable, unless faulty or damaged:

  • Opened wax melts

  • Used cosmetic or cosmetic-style products

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Sale or discounted items

This does not affect your statutory rights.


Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

Partial refunds may be issued where:

  • Items are returned in a condition not suitable for resale

  • Packaging is damaged or missing

  • Orders are lost after dispatch
    (Product cost refunded; postage is non-refundable)


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within a few working days.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are faulty or damaged.

Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

However, due to the nature of our products, the right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed

  • Made-to-order or personalised items

If your order qualifies for cancellation, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery. Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or damaged.

This does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.


Product Safety & Compliance

All wax melts and cosmetic-style products are:

  • Hand-poured in small batches

  • Labelled in accordance with UK CLP Regulations

  • Supplied with relevant safety and allergen information

Customers are responsible for reading all labels and safety instructions before use.
